My friend G got married May 30th. He sent me photos from the wedding. They are just georgous. It looks like it was a very nice day and he and his bride look very happy. Its an interesting emotion seeing someone you used to date get married. The biggest thing I feel though is happiness because I feel that G has been ready and waiting on that someone who was also ready. Then along came "The One" and the rest is history.

It's so cool when it works out that way. That's the way it should happen. But what about those of us who its not so easy for? What about when "The One" comes along and both of you realize it, so you run from it. For personally selfish reasons you aren't ready to commit but can't help but feeling bitten by "The Love Bug". You are bitten. There is no doubt about it and soon your body starts to react to the bite. It is slowly being infected by its love serum. The more you try to ignore its power, the harder it becomes to function normally. But still personal desires keep you from completely submitting to the power of love. So you wait and you suffer.

Doesn't that version just suck.

Congratulations G and T. I wish you all the happiness that true love can bring and more. May your union be blessed with trials and celebrations so that you may appreciate the companion you have been given and may you always remember that your partner is your special gift. Treasure each other like no other thing you've ever been given because this one is extra special.
