Public Workers (Late Post #2)

Why do all public workers in America hate their jobs? Okay, that was extremely general, but FUCK! I can't understand why people who work with the public are so rude. I have major issues w/North Carolina's DMV right now. MAJOR ISSUES! My DL expired on my 25th birthday but I didn't notice it until the beginning of November when I was making rental car reservations for my trip home (next week). #1 I have a Japanese DL and don't need the NC one here and #2 when I lost my wallet in August, the card was in it so I haven't seen it for it to jog my memory to renew. Well on the 1st of Nov, I mailed the DMV through this online contact chat thingy about my situation. They mailed on the 4th saying a packet was in the mail. On the 29th, still NOTHING had come. So I called this time and explain my situation. Do you know these fuckers hadn't mailed me anything! The said something had gone out in that morning's mail. What that means is they didn't want me to cuss even more so they told me they'd sent something out but in actuality they were mailing it out as we spoke. Fuckers.

So, the papers come yesterday and there is a very vague Vision Application that needs to be filled out by a Japanese doctor. I call to get some clarification and everyone who works in teh office is a total moron EVERY last person.

The test that has been causing me loads of stress and deprived me of many nights of clubbing and fun is finally over.


I am making out my Christmas lists now. I am awful at buying things for people although I like to do it. I just don't usually have a lot of confidence that they'll like the things that I get. This year I'm going to put extra special effort into choosing things for people. Since I'll be home for 3 weeks and will be doing a lot of moving around, I'll be spending a good bit of money I'm sure.

Note: After a 6 month hiatus, I've come back to my blog and I have two 1/2 finished blog postings I never published for whatever reason...today is the day for them to meet the world.
