The Noisy Folks

Just about to leave the house to go to my Japanese lesson when my neighbor and her boyfriend come down bringing a plate sweets. They apologize for making so much noise and said that the guy was drunk and being rather rude and apologized. I said "OK, thanks". My neighbor asked for her plate back, I took off the snacks, gave it to her and they left. I guess the banging did the trick and let them know I wasn't a happy camper. It was nice of them to come apologize though. But that doesn't make it alright...
